D3 Biodiversity and wildlife management
With increasing urban migration and sprawl, a variety of species from peri-urban areas are now calling cities home. This session will explore the relationship between urban growth and encroachment on natural areas, how species themselves are adapting to survive and thrive in urban environments, and finally, the mechanisms that cities have emplaced to manage the interaction between these new residents and citizens.
